Moved to Edmonton and into Apt 205 in November 2010. Within a week or two I discovered the bedbug infestation and the beginning of a 3-month nightmare and obsession with ridding my dwelling of these disgusting bugs. After complaints to my landlord and questions about the bedbug problem with neighbours (who also had infested apartments), I found out that, prior to my moving into the apartment, my suite had been fumigated for bedbugs - but the landlord never informed me of this bit of informatio

n. I was pro-active in my own personal attack on the vermin - everything from pouring boiling bleach water on all bedding, prolonged dryer heat on bedding and clothes, daily applications of "bedbug specific" pesticides around baseboards and in furniture cracks, vacuuming daily - even putting my mattress and and storing clothes and other articles sealed in plastic bags on my outside balcony exposed to Edmonton's freezing -20 degree plus extreme temperatures!! My salvation from the bugs was to pitch a tent in the middle of my living room and zip myself in - only in my tent could I escape from the bedbugs and get a decent night's sleep.
I moved to my new "bedbug free" apartment in February 2011 with my brand new bed.
