oot just below the ankle joint. There were four bites in a somewhat linear pattern. They itched horribly. It is now July 15th and the bites are still raised and red although they itch less.
I do not know for sure if these are bed bug bites or if the hotel has bed bugs. But it seems more than a coincidence to me that it was the same area of the hotel as the report in April and that these bites appeared within a day after staying there.

oss the sheets. It was reddish brown & I'm sure had been well fed. The bites became more noticeable after I itched them--they were in the classic bedbug bite pattern shown on many internet sites and we took photos. I told the desk clerk the next morning--I will have it checked out & she disappeared. We were out of the country & I called the manager of The Wyndham Hotel & was told she had worked there for X amount of years & they had never had a bedbug report--isn't that a standard reply? Being I have such a GREAT fear of encountering bedbugs I will NEVER be able to forget this HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I do not think I will ever be able to stay in any hotel again. I have been filled with so much anxiety, cannot sleep, I have fear that a bedbug is in our car, & I look for one whenever I crawl into bed or change clothes. I have been totally devastated by this HORRIBLE incident & advise all travelers--THIS HOTEL DOES HAVE BEDBUGS, even though the other posting says they don't.
