We've stayed at the Cavalier for 6 years. While I can't dispute that bed bugs can be found there because people carry them. I can say that we've never had a problem. Our rooms are thoroughly cleaned daily. As for the dirty curtain, if that had been called in your room would have been changed. And the cavalier uses brown culk in the bathroom.

I stayed in Room 904 on 09/10/09. As soon as I pulled back the covers, there was a bug carcass. I proceeded to back the fitted sheet and there were more bugs. On the floor by the night stand there was a carpet stain that looked like dried blood. The shower curtain had mold at the bottom, and caulk around the sink had turned brown.
