This is an update on the 3/8/2012 report, we contacted the Ritz Carlton and they said there would be an investigation on the Bed Bugs and someone would be contacting us. We received a letter from an exterminating company stating they found no bedbugs in that room but never heard anything from the Ritz Carlton. This was the only place we had stayed at and we had two professionals confirm it was bed bugs of whom one was a doctor. It amazes me none were found but I am sure the exterminating company
wants repeat business from the Ritz Carlton.

We stayed at this hotel on March 2, 2012 for two nights and now my wife has bed bug bites, they showed up within a couple of days. She called the hotel reported this.

A letter sent to corporate...
This past weekend, my wife and I stayed in room 811, and now have bedbugs! Little rash type bites, and also found a dead bedbug in clothing. We are absolutely appalled by this finding. To think, an upscale establishment like the Ritz having a bedbug infestation and not taking care of the problem. I am going to notify the Virginia Department of Health, along with the corporate headquarters of Ritz Carlton. Furthermore, I will make certain
others know about this problem. This is extremely problematic. In a recent internet search on the internet(1 year ago) I found that this problem was reported by another guest. You have had a bedbug problem for a year??? And still have a problem?? I think it's time for my lawyer to become involved so no one else has to suffer your negligence.

Morning of 9/21, woke to find several bed bugs in my bed. Mgmt moved me to a different room. They verified later via email that the bugs were bed bugs. They immediately began cleaning my old room.
