We stayed one night at this hotel on Sept. 5, 2011. It seemed okay, but in the morning, in the car, on our way to Johns Hopkins, Baltimore, Md. (left Maryville, TN in the am), my husband asked what the bumps were on his neck. I looked up bedbug bites...sure enough...it looks exactly like the picture. On the way home, we bought 4 pillows and a blanket at Walmart and slept in the car! I never want to stay in a hotel again!

On June 11, 2011 we stayed at the Motel 6 for only 1 night and I got bed bug bites. The worst of it is I didn't recognize it as being a real problem as I have never seen bed bugs before. I did see a small brownish fleck of a bug on my abdomen during the night when I checked an itchy area.I had no idea what it was, now looking at the pics I am sure it was a bed bug. We have a home in SC that we go to 1 time a year for 4 weeks. We had not been to our house for a year, it sits alone on a 5 acre lo
t and is only 6 years old. We have owned it for the past 5 years and have never had any infestations of any kind. We have it professionaly exterminated yearly as a precautionary. Well, now I have more than 20 red itching welted bites on me and I am just a mess. We have started finding the evidence of them in our bed. They must have traveled on us or in our luggage from our 1 night stay at the motel. We are currently treating our house but now I just don't know what to do about staying over at a motel. Broken Trust
