July 20, 2010 Room 528.
I was in the DC on business and my company got me my room at the Holiday Inn.
When I awoke early Wednesday morning I had a bed bug right at eye level, and others in the bed with me. I called the front desk and about an hour or so later the hotel general manager showed up. The did not have a night manager on duty to talk to me. The hotel took all my clothing and either dry cleaned or washed everything, including my suit case. The offered another room but I de

clined (I figured in one room, there has to be others as well). The one thing that really made me the maddest was that the hotel manager told me they had trouble with bed bugs in this room before but thought it was clean. Key word thought. I am distressed that they allowed anyone in that room knowing full well it had an issue. All my items that I had with me are currently in my car which is 120 degrees inside to to make real sure I did not bring any hitch-hikers.
To say that I was extremely upset is an under statement. The idea of transporting them home was unthinkable.
I moved to another hotel and continued my business trip
