On behalf of the hotel, I wanted to reach out to you regarding your stay earlier this year.


Once we learned of your concerns, we immediately removed the guest room from service and contacted a nationally recognized pest control expert to inspect and treat the room. As an additional precaution, we also closed the adjacent rooms, including the rooms on either side, as well as above and below your guest room until they could also be inspected and treated.

Follow-up on Room 202. The General Manager was very responsive to my concerns. She had a pest control company, EcoLab, do an inspection and they found no bed bug activity. I'm not sure what bit me while I was there but it seems that it wasn't bed bugs.


I stayed in room 202 on August 21, 2010. I was eaten alive. On my stomach alone, I have 20 bites...not to mention my neck, back and face. I left the hotel in the morning and didn't start itching until the afternoon...it is not uncommon for me to have a delayed reaction. I emailed the hotel to alert them of the problem and am still waiting for them to acknowledge my note. I wish I had read this registry before I booked because I am very susceptible to these miserable bugs! The place is called t

Fellow Travelers,

It's April 8, 2010 and my wife and I just had a encounter wife bed bugs in room 626. We reported it and got moved to another room. The experience was absolutely horrible we were laying in bed, happened to look down and the top comforter was covered with these small bugs. First time and hopefully the last time I ever have to experience them again. The guy at the front desk came up and brought us keys to another room and said in his years working here he has only ran into bed

bugs once. After reading this report I see he failed to mention the one time was only a month ago. So we are now in our new room and my wife and I are taking turns staying up watching for the bugs. So come on down to the Hyatt Place....sleep tight and don't let bed bugs bite.

Bed bugs found in my bed in Rm #308 of Hyatt Place North Dallas Tues 3/9/10. After showering, came back out to bed area and saw at least 4 bed bugs crawling on my bed!
The front desk was notified immediately and they moved us into another room and sent our luggage and clothes to the dry cleaners.
I am still creeped out and leaving my luggage in garage for a long time.
Friends later told me I should have insisted that the hotel comp my stay.
