My family and had reserved Gatlinburg cabins on line.For 2 months I talked to the people about my reservation for Sept 14,15 2012.When I get there with my whole family they tell me we can not stay in the Grand Pinnacle that we had reserved because of a maintenace issue.They send us to you you put us in my Hearts Desire.we spent 1 night but the next morning we find bed bugs.you tell us you will move us,but it would cost us. keep in mind we had paid for 2 nights stay in Gatlinburg Cabins we did no
t have 2 nights.after attending our family wedding in Gatlinburg,we return to you with no place to stay.after a tiring day we all had to drive 5 hours home arriving home at midnight.I feel like my family and were taken advantage off you should have accomadated us for our stay.I will be waiting to hear from you

10/1/11 We checked in after hours and had diner in the cabin. Afterwards,our 4-year-old son wanted to sit in bed and watch a movie, within 30 minutes he came to tell me something was biting him and I noticed swollen red bumps on his legs. We inspected the bed and found numerous bugs and cast. They were in the downstairs bed and on the sleeper sofa and in the upstairs bedroom. It was very late so we had to call the answering service and FINALLY got someone to come out and confirm that they were b
ed bugs. When then talked to Miranda in management who offered us a different cabin. We explained that we would not be comfortable on the property and would be moving to a hotel. We were told that we could get refund in the morning. I had to stay up ALL night laundering and inspecting everything we brought into the cabin. The next morning after numerous calls and getting the run-a-round we were only given half of our money back and still had to pay for a new place to stay. We were told that the bugs were in fact body lice and not bed bugs, but in my opinion the photos/videos I have can prove otherwise. I have asked for the pest company report, but it has not yet been provided to us. I have also spoken to the General Manager, Susan who refuses to give us a full refund. I even offered to pay the cleaning fee for the few hours that we were there. Susan aslo refused to give me the name of the property management company and would only give me an email address for the director. Sherwood Forest Resort RUINED our vacation and cost us a lot of extra money and a lot of worry.

We stayed in the Bear Hug Cabin last weekend (11/12-11/14). I slept in the loft bedroom. Several people stayed in the cabin, but I am the only one with bites. I am covered in them.
