Just stayed there about 2 weeks ago. Nothing in our room. I've worked in the hotel industry before so I always extensively check mattresses and bedding before committing. This place is fine in my book.

Last year my husband and I stayed at the Rodeway Inn for the Shades of The Past Car Show. It is always the first week in September, so it was Sept. 2012. We were there for a week and by the end of the week I had bed bug bites all over my faces, breast, and neck. At first I thought it was fleas but there was blood all over the sheets. I told the manager I thought it was bed bugs and he said, no one else was complaining.
So, we left ahead of time and came home and will never go back to Rodeway I

August 1st, 2013: we arrived at the Rodeway Inn as part of a package deal we bought from Reserve Direct. We were in room #1206. We unpacked our belongings and put our two children (4 & 6) into bed. They both nodded off and I went to take a cute picture of the two of them snuggling. I saw what I thought was a tick crawling on my daughter. I grabbed it and it easily smashed leaving blood in my fingers. I knew then it wasn't a tick. I pulled the kids out of the bed and there were little red tinted

bugs everywhere in all sizes. I got our kids and luggage out. I took pictures of the bed bugs and the brown smear stains on the matress. Figuring I might be discredited (as any manager/owner would deny their hotel to be infested) I decided to do a video starting at the name of the hotel, to the front of the building, to room 1206, to the bed and under the sheets, matress and finally the "nest" on the boxspring. Truly a disgusting video but undeniable to anyone as of its location. The hotel put us in another room, that we thouroghly checked, where we all showered and washed all our clothes (this was the first day of our vacation). We were refunded one nights stay (oh so generous, huh?). Stay away from this hotel! Also note that Trip Advisor has two references to bed bugs for this same hotel in which the manager replied that both were not true.
