8/15/10 Bluegreen Resort, Laurel Crest, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
We checked in Friday at 4:00 pm - brought in all our suitcases and clothing. Went back out in town for a few hours, came back and put baby (2 yrs old) to bed for night. He had a great day seeing the penguins playing and riding rides, and was very tired. His parents placed pillows around King Size bed and went back out to dinner leaving us (grandparents) in room with baby. We were watching TV in living room area - had actually

pulled out the couch bed and was lying there. Parents came back a couple hours later and got in bed and pulled back the sheets and there they were crawling on baby and mattress. Mother was so upset. We were very upset and called the front desk.....only to be told that we could leave the room, if we wanted to, and go downtown and get a room and they would reimburse us the next morning. I asked to speak with management and was told that I could only speak with her, security, there was no management there, and they would not relocate us to another room because now we would reinfest another room. I said, so you are telling me to go to a hotel room downtown though, and she said YES. We were very upset and worried about our baby, a 2 year old little boy. We left and rushed to a local gas station at 2:00 am in morning and purcashed clorox and garbage bags to put all clothing in till we could wash it. We also purchased raid and sprayed back of car where all suitcases and clothing were put. We added clorox to water and washed our grandson all over to hopefully kill any bugs we couldn't see. This was all we could think of at 2:00 am, we looked him over good and couldn't see any immediate dangers, we were so tired and upset at this time. Next, we went to Walmart and purchased new clothing to wear for night. We checked in motel in town and showered and washed in Clorox water and got a couple hours sleep. We went back to Laurel Crest and they did refund us for rooms and apologized and gave us 2 night free coupon for later date....ooooh,who could go back there, not me ,,,,,BUT THIS IS NOT ENOUGH, 2 YEARS AGO I PURCHASED A TIMESHARE FROM THEM, AND THIS IS HOW WE WERE TREATED ... DEFINETLY NOT THE SAME WAY WE WERE TREATED THE DAY WE BOUGHT IT....
...... I JUST HOPE THEY REALLY DO CALL AN EXTERMINATOR BEFORE MORE PEOPLE EXPERIENCE THIS. I AM SORELY DISSAPPOINTED IN BLUEGREEN RESORTS. WHO THROWS OUT AN OWNER OF PROPERTY W/O EVEN TRYING TO REMEDY THE SITUATION. WE WERE TREATED WRONG.
