Stayed near the laundry room on the bottom floor.
On the last day while checking under the bed skirt to make sure my granddaughter did not leave a shoe or hair bow I found a dead bed bug and droppings on the box spring protector. I brought it to the attention of the head housekeeper and she and another maint. person started doing the "bed bug" check pulling the headboard off the wall and checking the linens. No other bugs were found, and no bites on any of us.
I complained to the manager
by phone ( he was not on property )and he REFUSED to believe that one bed bug was on the bed.
I showed it to a pest expert back home ( yes I brought the dead bug back in a glass jar ) and YES it is a bedbug.
to be fair I had no other complaints about the hotel.

We attempted to stay here in December 2013 and upon inspection of the bed we found bedbugs behind the headboard. I took a picture with my phone and took it to the front desk. They refunded our money with no question and acted as if they already knew about it

Stayed in a downstairs unit. Days later, clusters of bites appeared on my arms. I did not see evidence of bed bugs in the room, but it never happened prior to staying at this location.
Research online said bites can sometimes form up to 9 days later. Today is day 6.

I am very sorry, but I do not believe this. We have stayed at Plaza Inn many times and it has always been very well maintained and clean. I will say though that IF it DID occur, the management had it properly taken care of ASAP!!!
