Sorry Wyndham-Ocean Boulevard, my report was about the Wyndham West Winds on Ocean Drive near 34th, room 701.

Date of my vacation 7/9/11 - 7/16/11, yeah I am still here as I type this. My room was 701. I noticed little spots of blood on the sheets, didn't think much of it, meant to ask my husband about it. The spots increased as days passed, but again got busy. Then while waiting for my kids to complete an activity in the lobby, I read an old Readers Digest front to back....an article on bed bugs. It mentioned the tell tale sign, little blood spots on the sheets....we went back to the room I tore o
ff the sheets, then the mattress cover and one was right there in the middle of the day, where my husband's pillow would be. I freaked and went to the front desk. They moved us to room 703, swore they have never had them before and that every room is checked after people check out. Like I care, I just want a room free of bugs that bite me while I sleep.
So, we took our basic necessities and tomorrow am a "specialist" will come and confirm the bugs are in there. IF confirmed, then they will launder our stuff and treat our luggage.
This has all but ruined our vacation, we are all afraid to go to sleep and I just want to go home.

I work in the housekeeping dept. and I am aware of at least 50 rooms that have had bed bugs.
The staff at the front desk have been told to deny
this problem, but don't believe it.
