We stayed at the resort last year and had a very nice stay on the 10th floor. This years stay was great until the day of checkout. This is when I discovered the tiny spots on the sheets in our room, along with an adult bug. We stayed in a condo #1256 our sleeping room was adjoined to the shared bathroom. The manager and housekeeping came to our room, while in the room another bug was located in the other bed in the same room. The hotel treated all of our luggage and clothing allowing a late c

heckout. This was a horrible end to the vacation, fearing of what we could be taking home. 4 days upon returning my 9 year daughter became swollen on her arms and legs because of the numerous bits. The bits can take up to 14 days to show an allergic reaction. I will never again stay at a location without first checking this registry. It may not prevent a situation, but it could help avoid a nightmare situation from occurring again, when trying to have a relaxing trip. We did take additional treatment steps before bringing items into our home from that trip.

Staye at this beach resort in July 2013 for three nights. The first night I did feel biting on my legs. Thought it was Mosquitos or something. Bed bugs never entered my mind. The second night I felt the same stinging bites at bedtime, it was hard for me to sleep. I kept taking my legs from under the covers. The next morning my legs and ankles itched, but I was busy having fun on this beach vacay, I didn't think much about it. Now that I look back I should have went with my gut. After checking

out and heading back home, I continued to scratch both legs. I noticed bright red spots on my ankles. By the time we arrived home, my legs had raised areas that looked like hives. The red rash had an unique pattern. It started on my ankles and you could actually see a rash "trail" all the way up to my knees. Somewhat concerned, I showed it to my aunt who is a nurse aide. She said it looked like some sort of bug bites to her. I was able to see my primary care doctor that week, who confirmed that these were bed bug bites! I was so upset. I have contacted the hotel. I am now making others aware who may stay this hotel. I've researched this hotel and this is not the first time they've had bed bug complaints
