about 3 am I was finally winding down to head to sleep, when I felt something crawling on my arm. I swatted it off, and when I looked down I saw a red, flat looking bug, tried to kill it, and observed the back of the bug was flat and hard. It finally died, but red blood came out it. I was already doing research on my lap top, so I typed a description of the bug into my laptop, and low and behold, the first results that showed was bed bugs. I immediately ran from the room the front office, reque
sting to be switched to another room, considering the late hour. I was given the options of checking out and getting my money back or switching rooms. All the other hotels in the area were already booked solid, and i was 30 miles from home, so i had no choice but to switch. Of course, once in the new room I stayed up the whole night, got a couple minutes of sleep in the chair, least to say I got no sleep. The next morning it was a different gentlemen in the office, but he got no report of the switching of rooms, let alone the incident itself (suspicion rose). First thing monday morning, i reported the incident to guest relations, who then told me someone would inspect the room and i would be getting a call back. The at check out about an hour later, mattresses were lined up outside each room along the same as the room with the infestation. As much as its the right choice to replace the mattresses, it just looks like a cover up.
