The only report listed for this hotel, from February 2012, was a false alarm. Because of all the media/internet hype lately, Best Western King Charles Inn has had several false-alarms since 2009, but we are glad to report we have always been bedbug free! We have a Steritech pest control report from the room that "Anonymous" checked out of in February stating they completed a thorough inspection that turned up absolutely no sign of any kind of bugs being present. I dreamed that I was being attacked by bugs that crawl under your skin. When I woke up, I was itching. My husband said he had read that when there are bed bugs you may see little tiny blood spots in the sheets, so he looked and we found about 10-12 tiny blood spots on my side of the bed. When we pulled back the sheet, we found one dead tiny black bug. We called the front desk. They told us they'd never had this problem, but offered to get us another room and said they were calling pest control.
