To all past and prospective customers,
I would like to take this opportunity to address the threads here below. I have been working at the Newport Marriott for the better part of 13 years with a small gap in between. I can with good conscience say that in my time here at the hotel we have not had a single bed bug issue.

s how to identify any pests that our travelers may unknowingly bring with them when staying at the hotel as well as a strict reporting process to inform management.
We take each potential claim seriously. We remove each potential room out of selling inventory immediately and will not release it back to sell until it has been cleared by our partner Ecolab.

Week of August 17 stayed at the Newport Marriott. One of my daughters has bites all over her legs that appear consistent with bed but bites. My other daughter in the same room did not get bits. I can't be 100% sure that they were bed bugs or that she was bitten there, but it seems the most likely explanation.
