Inn @ Northrup Station
The Inn @ Northrup Station closely monitors all feedback from guests; should it be comment cards, guest satisfaction surveys, or traveler review sites such as this. We appreciate comments from our guests; positive feedback is wonderful to hear, and it is equally important for us to be notified regarding areas where further improvement is possible.
The Inn @ Northrup Station is aware there has been a resurgence of bedbugs throughout the
entire country. At the first word of this industry challenge, the Inn @ Northrup Station developed and implemented a comprehensive, prevention program during 2008. This program includes preventive inspections by a licensed pest control contractor. No exceptions. No excuses. Our guests demand excellence and we are equal to the challenge.
In addition to the services of a pest control contractor, we have completed extensive training of both housekeeping and guest services staff. All employees are trained to thoroughly investigate physical conditions at our hotel, and follow through on any feedback received from guests.
Neither incident noted below was brought to my attention. I encourage the authors of these reviews to contact me personally to further discuss their stay. Additional information such as exact dates of stays and suite numbers will allow us to further investigate. I can be reached at 800.224.1180.
Customer satisfaction is our number one priority. We are committed to making certain that each and every guest thoroughly enjoys their stay.

I stayed here in early October for 3 nights and woke up after one night with strange red marks on my legs. I have sensitive skin and thought it was the detergent used on the sheets but the morning I left I saw blood on the sheets. I was horrified and spoke to the Manager on upon checkout but he could not have cared less and even denied that it could have been bedbugs ! Then I see someone else has complained here as well. Avoid this place !

I live in Portland and had a family member visiting and they stayed at the Inn at Northrup Station, which I had recommended. After one night, they noticed red welts where the elastic band on their underwear was. I joked that it must be bedbugs but it really was. When they arrived home in Wyoming, they noticed many more welts and called the hotel and spoke to a "Valley Girl" who responded "Oh My God !" I called to follow up and was told "we don't have bedbugs." Really ! Beware
