My family stayed in Room 228 and although we did not have any bed bug issues, we had to kill at least 10 mosquitos and there were a few spiders near the door way. I would that because this inn does not have interior rooms, the insects flew in when we opened the door.

I stayed there from October 14-17 in room 216, upper level above registration desk. The room smelled musty, but we thought it was because they don't have many visitors during the week now that Cedar Point is closed during the week days. I did not notice anything until Monday October 17, there were 2-3 small brown bugs crawling on a kleenex box I placed on the bed. We told management who stated the bug guy was coming that day to spray around the property, they would have him check the room. By Oc
tober 18 I had 20-40 bug bites all over my arms, neck, and hands. I later found out if you are allergic to them the welts or bites will show 2-3 days after being bitten. I called the hotel again, they confirmed their bug guy did find the room to be infested, they offered to refund our money, which won't cover for the cost of having to treat my home for bed bugs. I have stayed here many times in the past without an issue but I won't be returning in the future.

I checked in to the Hotel on August 19 2011. I had room 326 and when I went to the room I did inspection of the room for bed bugs. I’m Executive Housekeeper for …….. Hotels, so I went to several bed bugs training in the past. I found bed bugs in the matters and on the sofa in room 326. I went to the Front Desk to report my issue. The lady at the desk stated that they have previous complaints about bed bugs and she is not surprise. She changes my room; I checked the mattress before I moved
my luggage in to the room. Looks fine but bed bugs have their hiding spots and sometimes you cannot see them. I saw couple of spiders in the room and a lot of mosquitos. I check out 2 days/nights early and only $ 53.00 from the last night was refund to my account. Very disappointing and I will never stay at this Hotel again.

July 27, 2010: room 324
All looked fine upon arrival, but the next day I found at least 20 bites on myself. (My husband had only one.) Most of the bites were on private areas that no mosquito could get to, so I was pretty sure what had happened.
I called the hotel to report it. No offer of a refund, but at least the manager was polite and honest. They knew about a previous problem in the room and had just replaced the beds, the carpet, "everything".
Those bugs have a good hi
ding place, wherever it is.
