Stayed 6/26/15. I have a phobia of bugs first thing I did was stripped down all blankets and sheets upon checkin. Everything looked good until the next morning when I pulled back the blacker to get in bed and seen it. I totally freaked out yelled at husband and kids to wake up. Called the front desk told them and within seconds they were in room. Stated never had a problem but immediately said they would refund us and find us another hotel for the next night of our stay.

Room 231, I checked in very late 9/23, actually 1:00AM 9/24. Bites appeared morning of 9/26. At first I wasn't convinced they were BB bites. By late night of 9/26 bites were very itchy and more appeared to fill in the usual triplet biting pattern. I checked beneath the mattress of the bed I had been using and found bed bugs in the box spring cover at the head edge of the bed. That bed was particularly infested. When inspecting the other bed, I found another bed bug also in the box spring cov
er at the head end. I had been under the impression that bites take 7 to 8 days to appear. That's a myth. I'm assuming I got bitten starting the first night, so the bites only took about 36 to 48 hours to appear. I found another hotel in the area and checked out. HI will be giving me a full refund for the nights I was there.
