6/23/2013 as I left a bed bug ran across our bed on the 14th floor. The front desk guy did confirm the bed bug as we presented it to him. (We caught it into a plastic bag.) I'll watch for bites now and be sequestering my luggage.

Recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency August 18th - 20th, 2011. It takes about 7 days for the bugs to appear on your body, which they did last Friday. While I haven't seen them in my home, I will need to bring in an exterminator.

September 20-21; 18th floor. I experienced strange bites which I misidentified as mosquito bites. I returned to Toledo and later learned that I had acquired bed bugs. Luckily, I caught the problem early. My landlord is currently working with exterminators and I have a follow-up treatment scheduled in two weeks. The Hyatt Regency, while having an amazing staff and spotless rooms, is the likely culprit (bed bugs don't discriminate based on cleanliness or luxury).

This is the only place I have

slept other than my apartment.
