Not sure about bed bugs, but we had piece of luggage, loose change and expensive sunglasses stolen from our car while it was valet parked with this hotel. Based on their response to this situation, it would not surprise that they would have other unresolved issues such as bed bugs. Avoid this hotel!

Stayed here on 4/1/11. This hotel still has bedbugs. Mangement comped my stay, but the unfortunately the damage has already been done. This is still a hotel to avoid.

Wonderful hotel and facility! I am a member of a large group that stayed at this hotel on November 5 and 6, 2010 and it was very clean, neat and orderly. We found the staff and management to be very friendly and helpful. Absolutely no signs of bedbugs! Highly recommended and would definitely return.

Had bed bugs in my room on 10/23. I now have several bites all over me. Management at this hotel is very negligent about this problem. They "claim" to be fixing the problem, but their efforts leave a lot to be desired. Avoid!

My name is Kathyrn Burton, and I am the General Manager of the Crowne Plaza Columbus Downtown. I have researched all claims as I am very concerned about the guest experience at my hotel.
Please note that none of the incidents cited on www.bedbugregistry.com were ever reported to any member of my staff. Upon seeing these reviews, I dispatched our pest elimination company immediately to inspect these rooms and guest floors for bed bugs. I am happy to report that no acti
vity was found and have offered to provide doucmentation of that fact to the webmaster of this website.
We take many proactive measures at our property to ensure that we are protecting our guests against bed bugs. We have trained our housekeeping and engineering staff as to how to identify activity in a guest room, as well as allocate dollars to ensure regular scheduled inspections of all guest rooms are completed. In addition, we have engaged the services of the bed bug sniffing canine who performs regular scheduled inspections as well.
I know this is an issue that greatly concerns our guests, and our entire team is committed to doing whatever we can to ensure our guests do not encounter issues at our hotel.
