We are very leary of bedbugs, so went to inspect a family suite (249) at the Quality Inn. The front desk was very nice and offered to let us inspect the room prior to booking. We removed the first two headboards (the smaller beds) and they had *a few* black spots with raised bumps, but not a lot...we could chalk it up to anything, although we knew it was probably bedbugs. We moved onto the third bed (a king) and were immediately greeted by an OBVIOUS infestation in the headboard...there were
huge black spots in the wood grain, and we saw an adult bedbug crawling along the wooden seam of the headboard in the right corner. We left the room quickly and told the front desk, and they were again very nice/apologetic. They mentioned that they had seen the problem before, but it was a while ago. Again, very helpful front desk, but clearly it's infested.

There seems to be a serious problem with insects at this location. We stayed in a room that had noticeable live BEDBUGS in the corners of the beds. When we checked the mattress we noticed large blood spots that had been scrubbed to hide their presence. This was clearly an attempt at a cover-up. When we confronted the front desk, they acknowledged the problem. It seems as though they had been through this routine before. They were quietly about to move us to another room until the owner ove
r heard and came out of the back area of the office. He began yelling and became extremely confrontational. He was yelling so much that you could actually see spit flying out of his mouth. He tried to say there is no infestation and that any bugs were our fault. The audacity of this man is bewildering. Someone needs to phone the health department on this place. An absolutely putrid location!!!
