Lucky enough, I was watching tv when I saw something walking on the pillow next to me - at the beginning didn't know what it was until I google it - was a bedbug - I lifted the pillow and here was another one. It was 3am - they moved us to another room - Holiday period and all hotels are booked. Did a good as possible search of the room. Very disappointing when you pay so much money to stay at a reputable hotel chain. Simply wrong.

I stayed there one night this past December and had no incident. I am planning to return in June and I'll post my updated experience then.

Spent first night and had four bites appear in the morning, plus blood looking substance on bedding. Reported to management who allegedly had an inspection that turned out negative for bedbugs. They have me a new room. I spent the second night and awoke with blood on my back and my shirt from a new bite. This was a different room that first so infestation must be widespread.

Stayed at this hotel 4/4/13 and woke up the next day with three itchy welts that look like mosquito bites on my ribs. Not pleasant and highly disappointed.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in late December. Extreme itching and extensive welts 36 to 48 hours after checking out. Reported it to hotel management who subsequently reported that they had had it checked out by a third party and there was no evidence of bedbugs. I'm convinced there were bedbugs in the room.

Stayed for 5 nights in Nov 2010, at hotel waking most mornings with what I thought were mosquito bites. Wasn't until I returned home with my arms and stomach literally covered with itchy welts that we released were bed bugs. Understand that there is epidemic in NYC. Am heading back to NY in November this year so will bring the trusty medication in case of another attack.
