We stayed at the Marriott on 92nd Street in room 604 on June 1. We returned home the next day with bed bugs bites all over our bodies.
I only found out about this registry after we returned so I'm posting to inform other travelers.
I contacted the Marriott, but they haven't replied.

May 2015 - After seeing the earlier March 2015 review of bedbugs for this hotel, I was super vigilant in checking the beds. Glad I did. Mattress in first room (503) was filled with red flecking along the right edge. Went downstairs and told the front desk staff person who told me it was just the mattress wear and that people thought that all the time, but he did tell me was taking the room offline. He nicely offered to send me to another room and if that room did not suit, then he would send
up the house man to help me find another room. The second room was just two rooms away from the first. It's mattress looked far better but still had a couple of marks that looked suspicious. I had the house man come. Showed him the mattress in the first room and he confirmed that it was evidence of bed bugs. We eventually found a room a couple of floors away that looked free and clear and we woke up the next morning free of any bites. Hoping we didnt take any unwelcome guests home with us.

I checked into this hotel on 3/1/15. I immediately checked my bed - the mattress was covered in small red/brown sploches. I was given a 2nd room - SAME THING. For the 3rd attempt, a housekeeping supervisor was given a list of free rooms for us to check together. Fortunately the first one we looked at seemed clean, but I am still terrified as I have 3 nights at this hotel. I plan to keep all belongings in the bathroom, and EVERYTHING with me will be going into a hot dryer when I get home, and if
my local pest control company doesn't have a suitcase cooker, I think it may be going in the trash. Better safe than sorry!
That said, the staff has been lovely about the situation, but it will be my nickel to remove any pests that go home with me, so I am NOT pleased.

We stayed on Friday and Saturday night May 11 and 12, 2012 in room 1009. On Saturday morning I noticed a little speck on a pillow case that smeared when I tried to brush it off. On Sunday I had a large, swollen bite on my leg. On the plane going home, I was talking to my husband about it, and he said he had two bites on his legs that had appeared on Saturday morning. I called the hotel from my home, and the employee said he would check it out but he did not ask for any details.

I stayed at the hotel on the 9th and 10th of jan 2012. At the end of my second day bites begin appearing on my body and continue to show up 3 days later.
