o feed our son and noticed a small bug crawling across his bassinet. Suspecting it was a bedbug, I trapped it on a strip of Scotch tape and called the exterminator. After confirming that it was indeed a bedbug, we had Bell Environmental come in with a bedbug sniffing dog to determine if there was an infestation and, thankfully, there was not.

It was pretty easy to figure out that the bedbug was picked up from the ground level storage area of the Courtyard hotel. It's a wonderful professional courtesy that the hotel provides a space in which you can leave your belongings in the event of a delayed checkout; however, your leaving too much to chance in this day and age when you store your belongings in an area containing dozens of other pieces of luggage. Just a quick reminder that this report is not a knock on the hotel or its rooms, just a single area of the hotel from which we picked up a bedbug.
