Checked in Monday Sept 20th and stayed for 90 minutes as saw a bed bug crawl across bed away from me. Smashed it and it exploded blood as had been feeding. I also saw a transluscent red nymph on white wall. I left immediately, told front desk what I saw, and they were polite and agreed to not bill my room.

Awoke next morning across town in a Doubletree on 51st and Lex and had bites on torso... each of next few days more bites appeared. Not sure if Doubletree also had bed bugs!

Bed bugs have been an issue with this hotel i am surprised that they are even still open, GM Vk doesn't care about his staff or the people that send the night there. I feel sorry for the familys that stay there over night that take the chances of bringing those bed bugs home. Hope that now that its under NEW Mangement people that stay there can enjoy there stay. But they should consider getting new funature for those ROOMS that have been reported to the hotel about bed bugs including the mattres

My family and I spent a few nights in this hotel. I tried to be pro-active and checked mattresses, dresser drawers etc... prior to staying in this room. But one morning my daughter found a bedbug in the bathroom.
The manager did not deny that bedbugs have been an issue in the hotel and did credit us for 1 of the nights.
No wonder why the hotel rates were so much cheaper than other hotels. You get what you pay for !!!

“We had additional visitors staying in the room, namely bed bugs. Thankfully, we were only staying one night. Reception apologized but did not offer me any discount/voucher on when checking out. Very shoddy.”
