We stayed here in early Dec, 2010. The mattresses were encased in a bed bug protective bag. We found a bed bug crawling on the lap shade. I am fully aware of bed bug infestation issues as I work in the industry. I captured the bed bug and called mgmt. They sent up a hotel maintenance guy with the hotel mgr who claimed it was a spider. The last two days we noticed red marks on our bodies. They were itching us a lot. When we came back home to Europe I saw a doctor who confirmed the bites from bedbugs. We are not sure if bedbugs were already at hotel room on a day we arrived there or they appeared with the new clothes we bought in New York. Anyway the hotel was clean but bedbugs can spread very quickly thats'why I would like to inform you to avoid their spread.
