My wife and I stayed at the Monte Carlo for 4 nights and on the last morning of our stay we found a bed bug on our pillow. We reported it to the front desk who told us they would call a pest control agency. Well we captured it and left it in the room for pest control to see and verify but when we were contacted by the hotel later we were told that the room was clean and "had no sign of bug activity". We took pictures just in case something like this happened. I would not stay there again and it

January 2014 Monte Carlo was very clean. We had NO bed bug problems. Very comfortable pillow top mattress. We lucked out with very quiet evenings. No noise in hallway. On 5th floor.


My husband and I stayed at the Monte Carlo for five days, August 13 to 18, 2013. I just want to report that during our stay we had no problems with bed bugs. We stayed in room 29/205. The room was clean. I checked the bed, behind the headboard and pictures for evidence of bed bugs and found none.


We stayed at the Monte Carlo Resort July 18-19, 2013. Booked a Monaco Suite for our family of 4. When we arrived we were told that to accommodate 4 they would need to bring us a roll away bed. The roll away bed they delivered was infested with bed bugs. My daughter had a reaction and was covered in welts from the bites. The supervisor in charge moved us to a new room. Never asked how my daughter was feeling and assured us they would do a full inspection and call us the next day. Never got

a call, although we are 100% certain it was bed bugs as my husband even found a fully developed adult bug crawling under the sheet. We alerted the front desk around 6:00 PM. When we checked out of the hotel the next morning there was a mix up with the keys and we found out there was another guest in the bed bug room already. So 14 hours later the hotel had another guest in a room that was positive for bed bugs. That is shameful and very irresponsible. I will never stay there again and will tell anyone going to Vegas to avoid this hotel.

I just came back from a 5 night stay beginning July 10th. I did not see any evidence of bed bugs in my room and I did not get any bites.


I have stayed at the Monte Carlo Hotel Las Vegas at least every two months for several days to a week since the hotel opened about 12 years ago. We have never had a problem with bed bugs.


We stay there every year. We NEVER had a problem with bed bugs. We like this hotel very much.


Just returned from a stay there 7/3/12-7/9/12 in room 31-211 (31st floor, room#211).
Distinctive bites in clusters of 3 on the right side of my body. I did check the room but saw no signs of active bugs and thought maybe I was crazy. There were a total of just 5 clusters on me so either there are not many active in the room or the other bites haven't shown up on me yet.

The most disturbing thing was when I reported it to the front desk, the girl just said "I'm sorry" as I lifted my shirt

a tiny bit to show her the ones on my belly. She was not surprised---even a bit bored as if she hears it every day. She did not bother to write or type in the room number I told her---not a single move to do anything. I told her I thought they should know to treat the room and she just asked in that bored voice if I wanted to speak to a manager.

Watch out. They don't think it's a big deal and I doubt they will follow up with the room.

It's a big deal for me---all of our clothing, bags, etc went into huge plastic bags at the airport and will sit in the hot car all day before it all gets washed and heat treated before anything comes in the house. No way I am letting those awful creatures into my house.

We just returned from our vacation from 3/5/11-3/9/11. When I returned home, I found out I had mites. The doctor said it was from the hotel room. I would never stay in the Monte Carlo again!!!

The bath tub had hairs in it also. It probably wasn't cleaned between guests.

The mites are very painful. They need to pay!


Stayed @ Monte Carlo 1-02-2012 thru 1-06-2012. Room 14212, great view of the strip. No bug issues at all. Mattress felt great. Room was clean. Did have a large towel that had an off smell, but the entire week went really well.


No issues. We stayed at the Monte Carlo from Sept 6-12, 2011 and there were no signs of bed bugs. We did a thorough inspection upon arrival and placed our luggage in bags overnight/when we left the rooms.


Went to the Monte Carlo Resort & Casino in Las Vegas from Friday August 26th to Monday August 29th 2011. Came home with several bed bug bites. We threw out all our luggage and washed our clothes in hot water. Now I think I have found what may be a bed bug in my home . . . don't go there! We stayed on the 4th floor room number 130. I have had a very bad reaction to the bites ... feaver chills, swelling at the sites, very painful for several days. Also, the floor in the hallway smelled of ur

we stayed at the montel carlo hotel in las vegas during the first week of july 2011. everything seemed clean and neat at first but it was a couple of days after we got home that i noticed the a lot of bites all over my stomach and back. i even had an allergic reaction to the bites. they're very unsightly and depressing. we stayed at room 344. please avoid it. i've been so paranoid about taking the bed bugs home with us that we treated the house and plan on a re-treatment next month. i still keep

checking myself for new bites and praying that the marks will fade and not scar

I just got back from a 5 night stay at the Monte Carlo. Because of the bedbug scare across the US, we packed our clothes in ziploc bags and searched the bed, dust ruffle, etc. when we 1st arrived. We were happy to find the mattresses appeared to be brand new, and there were no signs of bed bugs. The room was clean and comfortable ... a great buy for the money. I would definately stay there again and recommend this hotel to friends and family.
