Wife and I woke up with streaks of bites. Eighth floor ocean tower. Stay away - the staff couldn't care less.

January 2012 I stayed at the Resorts and I saw a adult bed bug crawling on the wall. But at that time I did not know what a bed bug looked like. I reported to the front desk and they had admitted that they had a problem at one time. I also sent a letter to the new owner and I spoke to the manager and I told them that now I had a problem at home. I called a professional and I dry cleaned all of my clother plus I bought storage bins and I threw a lit if stuff out. All together this caused me
about $10,000. Which the hotel did not compensate any of my expenses. I would never stay there again.
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! CHECK FOR BLOOD SPOTS! CHECK FOR DANDRUFF LOOKING STUFF! (HATCHINGS)! NEVER AGAIN!!!!

My son and I stayed in separate rooms November 16- 18, 2012. I did not see any Bed Bugs in the hotel but when we got home a few weeks later I saw them moving across my sheets. I assumed they were ticks, we have a four month old puppy and never ever thought about Bed Bugs. I took a picture and sent it to an exterminater, he knew right wawy. I started collecting them, bought a spray and wallah, they died immediately. I spent 12 hours sterilizing my house and hope they are gone forever. I have not
traveled since my stay at Resorts AC. I have not been on a plane or any other public places, not even a movie house. Be careful!!!!
Rooms are infested, and all of the staff KNOWS this, proven by the fact that every bed is covered in a 'bed-bug bag' which are proven not to work.
I received THREE rooms which all showed signs of bed bugs. Two rooms in the 'new' Rendezvous tower and one room in the Ocean Tower.
In fact on the third room I received I didn't even have to do more than lift the comforter. The fitted sheet had three NEW, not old stains, down where your ankles would go if you were sleeping. Which means the clean
ing crew just made the bed OVER SOMEONE ELSE'S blood covered sheets.
When I checked into this third room the adjoining "suite" room was being sprayed for bugs by two members of the cleaning staff.
Fed up after wasting 4 hours in hopes of a sanitary room I demanded every cent back, played poker for a while and slept in my car and drove 6 hours back home the next day.
Will NEVER be going back to AC just the topping on top of the rest of the filth.
I usually spray the room and bed down with lysol before going out to gamble (gives the disinfectant a chance to work). It really shocked me when I returned to the room (in the new tower) and saw bugs running across the sheets. I killed some and left the bloody mess on the sheet but it grossed me out so bad I slept in my clothes on top of the bed spread. I reported the incident to staff and since haven't had any sightings in some time. Maybe they have remedied it.
Also, the maids cleaning antic
s of placing the coverlets on the floor as they remake the bed may be what spreads the infestations. I have it from a reliable source that those never get cleaned.
Saw one live bedbug on the 2nd day of my stay in the 2nd floor of Ocean Tower, when getting ready to check out, on September 2, 2011. Exactly one week later I had 2-3 dozen bites show up all over my body. Never had bedbugs at home, even checking the day after the bites showed up, no sign whatsoever.

Room 3523 - We started checking the room by removing the headboards and found a live bedbug behind the second one. It was approximately 1:30pm on 9/13/2010.
