I have worked at the Comfort Suites for a while & to my knowledge we have had no trouble with bedbugs! We take preventative measures against things like that. As for the other bugs; we do our best to control insects but you can only do so much. I know that there is a huge bedbug epidemic going on right now but what a lot of people don't tell you is that it is usually cities with airports that have these problems... especially if they make international flights. Sunday, September 26th, Room 221, one of the beds (by the window) had dirty sheets showing hair and debris, and the other bed (closer to the bathroom) had an insect crawling under the pillow. It was small and brown and my husband pressed it with his finger and it smeared into the sheets leaving a light brown streak. Room 117. When I woke up on Sat 10/1/10 I found a bright red blood stain on the sheet and 2 blood stains on the back band of my PJ's. I did not see any bugs. Hotel looked very clean and Leah at the desk was very helpful. When I went home I threw out my PJ's and slippers and washed everything including my back pack. I brought very little into the room.
