4.9.13 checked in and my husband and I tried to get some rest before going to duke for surgery. He is a double lung transplant. I was trying to get my pillow in a better position and saw a bug on the bottom sheet where the pillow had been and it was moving fast. the light was on. I jumped up and grabbed the scotch tape and got it on it. then I put all the lights on and went over the bed and found three more. my husband was a gem cutter and always has a magnification with him. WE saw they were Bi
g bedbugs. I called the desk and they said they would move us to another room. we went from 129 tto another floor and rm 283. A much nicer looking room. I inspected and saw nothing. I tried to rest but was to upset. he was sleeping . I got up to go ,and saw something on his T shirt on the shoulder. got the tape and it was another bed bug.we checked out with the night clerk saying they did not have an never did have bedbugs. now I am worried about my home.

Stayed here on August 16th, 2012. Woke up Aug 17th. With bedbug bites on both legs and on belly. Called and asked them to send the manager up because of bedbug bites. They sent up the 'Housekeeping manager' who denied there was a history of bedbugs in the hotel. (As I later saw that they did for an earlier poster on this website). My office assistant called the hotel in follow-up today. They deny this report to them occurred, although upon my check-out they had staff standing around watch
ing me when I checked out of room 208 (I think that is the correct room #) watching me and watching what I would do. Needed to get to my meeting, so I told them I was checking out and would not return that p.m. Please for your benefit, do not stay at this hotel. They are not taking these reports seriously and therefore expect an infestation is imminent, if not present already.

I cant believe i found this website AND have to report.
Stayed here on business 7/24/12. Room 291 to be exact. Woke itching late night, thought nothing of it until this morn two days later & have 6 bites- linear, right side belly, next to belly button. Never had this in my life..knew right away and exactly. Then, looked up photos online and they match the pattern. Lovely.
I can only imagine how many are in there...thankful not on my face or in the hundreds of bites. Itchy, welt-looking, and g
ross to think I was being chomped on.
Read that young ones feed in 3 minutes..older adults can dine up to 15. Never will stay at a millenium again..ever.
Thankful now for this site for my travels.

Stayed here for a sick family member, a patient at Duke. They say they give you a discount. I woke up in the middle of the night itching and found a bed bug sucking my blood. I put it in a zip-bag and the room fees were refunded. Yuckkkkkkkk, they gave me quarters to wash my clothes. I am scared to bring bed bugs home to my house.
