After reading this post and reviewing our files, I have noted that an inspection was conducted on September 23rd in which the inspector and dog were unable to find presence of bed bugs in the room questioned. It is our practice to follow up with our guests and I am disappointed that the timing of our turnover prevented a call back in this case.

We believe that our best defense is a strong offense. Our proactive measures include mandatory training for room attendants, maintenance staff and managers to identify possible signs of activity. We conduct visual inspections as part of daily room cleaning and preventative maintenance program. And a key element of our proactive program is the quarterly guest room inspections conducted by our professional pest control company and their trained dogs.

We understand that we cannot always keep pests from hitching a ride in, but we can be diligent in catching them quickly and if needed, treating accordingly. I encourage future and past guests to reach out to me directly if they have questions.

eeks and we're still waiting to get in touch with "Jonathan" who said he was going to do an inspection and get back to us. We looked everywhere and washed everything hot and didn't find and hard evidence except the bitemarks. I'm praying that nothing was brought back with us.
