We stayed at this hotel during the July 4th 2011 weekend. In Room 120. On July 4th we both woke up around 5:00 a.m. My husband first complained about bumps that he was feeling all over his arms, chest, and legs. At first we didn't think anything about it. However, when we put on the light, it was clear that he had been bitten all over. Then I started looking at the bed, and low and behold, I saw the bedbugs, at first it was just one, but then I saw them on the other bed as well and realized that
I was being bit as well-- mine were on my breast, arms, and legs. The bedbugs were in the comforter and blankets.
We immediately went down to the front desk to complain and inform them about our situation. They seemed indifferent but offered to put us up in another room. At first, we thought it would be a solution but when I returned from taking my husband to his appointment, I saw even more bed bugs so immediately checked out. The staff offered no help except to suggest that we go to the doctors (they saw the bites). We had to cut our trip short, no one in our family wanted us in their house, we did call our doctors and they gave us medications to put on our bodies and instructed us to isolate, wash and dry, spray, and/or destroy all of our belongings that we took to RI.
Needless to say, we have been through an ordeal and still have scars on our bodies. I wish that I had checked out this registry before going on the trip-- however, I had stayed at this hotel many times over the past 10 years with no problems until now.
I am sharing my story so that no one else stays in Room 120 unaware of the bed bug history.

we stayed in room 120 on may 21,2011 and we were bitten by bed bugs. we lason had trouble with the door locks not working.
we reported both on there e-mail questionare and we did not get any reply's from them.

On Sunday April 3, 2011 my wife, my son and I stayed in room 232 at Motel 6 Seekonk. My 16 year old son complained in the middle of the night that he'd felt something crawling along his foot and leg...when we turned the lights on we noticed two live bed bugs. We immediately informed the motel staff who seemed incredibly indifferent and wouldn't come to the room to witness the situation. We left immediately! We subsequently reported this to customer relations and was contacted by Seekonk manageme
nt who claimed that there were no bed bugs in the room. What we saw were CLEARLY bed bugs!

Felt somoething crawling in middle of night, saw a big bug (probably not a bedbug) in the bathroom.
In the morning, each of us had several bites, and the
sheets had blood stains. Also, we found and killed several bugs and informed hotel management. Somehow we brought them back home with us. Ugggh!
