Volleyball team staying for a tournament April 30th, multiple reports of bed bugs found! Do not stay here!

4/16/11 - Room 502-Went to check on son sleeping. He had bed bugs crawling on him. Checked out - offered new room but declined. Manager haggled with us over room cost. We were not refunded.

We were in room K-206 on 2/11/11 in the Holiday Inn Lakeview at about 6:30 pm. We saw several small reddish bed bugs crawling out from behind the head board on the bed nearest the door. The head board was attached to the wall. We compared them to pictures on google of bed bugs, they were the same. We took a picture of one with a cell phone and captured one to take to the front desk. The manager crushed the bug we took to her for review, she told us it was a roach. It was not a roach. We were
only in the room for about an hour and checked out. No one was bitten, we had not slept in the beds. They offered to put us in another room, I declined. We requested a refund for the room charge.
