Yes it happened to me in the summer of 201O at the HGI. They did have problems before. The manager comp'ed the room, my cleaning bill and my luggage.

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn, in Chesterton, IN from June 23-26th, 2011. Friday night, I went to bed without ANY bug bites on my legs, or body. The next morning, I woke up to my legs covered in bites/welts from some sort of bug. I reported this to the hotel staff (with pictures) and have been getting the run around with them ever since. They have told me that there has been no incident of bed bugs in that area (ha!). I don't think they realize bed bugs are everywhere. I've been treated horr
