I was in Lisle on business 2/15 - 2/17 and stayed at the Hyatt Lisle. During my stay I was exposed to bed bug bites. I stayed in room #408. I debated on notifying you but decided it would be in the best interest of your hotel if you knew about this.
Thanks.

Dear Sir,
I wanted to reach out to you regarding your recent stay at our hotel. We take any mention of bed bugs very seriously and immediately close the room and contact a nationally recognized pest control expert to conduct a thorough examination of a guestroom in question. The room numbers in question came up negative of any bed bug activity.
The safety of our guests and the cleanliness of our facilities are top priorities. At Hyatt, our regular inspections and
our trained and knowledgeable housekeeping staff serve as the best lines of defense. We pride ourselves on keeping our teams equipped with the knowledge, training, and tools needed to identify and address any issues, and we regularly review our housekeeping standards and procedures to ensure that each Hyatt guest enjoys a safe, clean and comfortable environment in our hotels.
I would very much like the opportunity to speak with you about this further, so please contact me at your convenience. I have also emailed you directly.
Thank you,
GM

Dear Rich,
We take any guest complaint very seriously, especially when it relates to our guests’ well being. As we previously informed you, once we learned of your concerns, we immediately contacted a nationally recognized pest control expert to conduct a thorough examination of your guestroom. This inspection failed to find any trace of bed bugs, a finding that was confirmed by the DuPage County Health Department. It is our goal for each Hyatt guest to enjoy a safe, clea
n and comfortable environment in our hotels.
If you would like to discuss this matter with me further, please contact me directly at your convenience.
Thank you,
GM

I am truly disappointed from my recent stay at the Hyatt Lisle. I have stayed several times at this hotel and other Hyatt hotels.
I stayed at the Hyatt in Lisle on 9/15/2010 to 9/17/2010 in a room on the second floor (I forget if it was room 225 or 227). After the first night on Thursday 9/16/2010 I found 8 bug bites on arms neck and hands. Now I have itching red spots on my body, arms and fingers.
I also wished the hotel would have acknowledged the fact of having bed bugs. Especially beca
use the hotel management had been aware of the problem and it looks like the necessary actions have not been taken to solve it. I am really disappointed from the Hyatt group and that the problem was not solved and guests were not warned or protected.
Today I contacted Hyatt Corporate and shared the problem. I am curious to hear back from them and their explanation and arguments why in the future my employees and I should take Hyatt hotels into consideration for our business trips.

I stayed at the Hyatt in Lisle Il on Sept 3rd and 4th. I woke up on Sunday morning and I had over 20 bites on my back, arms, legs, and face. I reported it to the front desk. They asked me if I had allergies, but did not inform me that they had had bed bugs in the recent past. As the day went on, the bites became welts. When I returned home, I washed down the luggage and cleaned all the clothes in hot water. However, I wish the hotel would have acknowledged the fact of having bed bugs. I w
ould have been livid it my house would have been infected. If it would not have been for my sister telling me that the Hyatt had bed bugs, I would have remained ignorant about the bed bug epidemic. I believe keeping your customers informed would have been a wonderful thing.
