checked into hotel on 8-19-10. was assigned room number 306. hotel under renovation and is older property, however room appeared normal in light of day. awake at around 2:00 AM, i noticed an insect crawling on pillow. turned on lights. when i smashed him, i noticed there was blood. stayed awake and found two more.
reported incident to the night clerk (young female) who apologized and switched my room to second floor. i did show the insects to a worker by the name of javier (young male). foun
d no further incidents in second room. reported the incident in detail to manager following day, who was polite and did take some sort of internal report, giving me a short version copy. he was a japanese gentleman, 50-ish.
upon return home, i made a telephone attempt to report this to du page county health department, however they took no interest and did not return my calls.
