I checked into room 106 on 6/18/11, and immediately checked this site for reports. I was a more than a little concerned to find that the very room I had checked into had a report only a few weeks prior. So I talked to front desk person about it. He assured me that precautions had been taken, and the room was now clean. I told him that psychologically, I needed to switch rooms, because I wouldn't get any sleep thinking about the past history of that room. Reluctantly, he switched me to room 114.
As soon as I walked in the door, and looked at the ceiling, I saw one staring back at me. Then I went to the mattress, and found one tucked in the corner, under the sheet. I went back to the front desk and said that I couldn't stay there. I showed him the bugs, and he gave me a refund. I ended up sleeping at a rest stop that night, as I couldn't bring myself to try another motel.
Anyone checking into this motel should ask what has been done to get rid of the bugs recently, and even go so far as to inspect a room prior to checking in.

Motel 6 Room 106 checked out on April 27, 2011 covered with bedbug bites. Had them checked and yes that is what they were. Front desk would not refund my money, I want some satifaction! She said that the bites could have been there before I checked in, believe me someone would have noticed. I am suffering miserably and will do whatever neccessary to make them acknowledge they have a problem. Reported to corporate but this is a privately owned franchise but they noted the complaint and I must tak
e it up with management. I won't stop until I am compensated.
