r something or at least I hoped. The next morning 11/1/11 I was still bothered by the sighting of these bugs in the bed so I decided to take a closer look. I noticed small black specs on the sheets which I had read was a sign. I then moved the sheets back and on the corner saw a bed bug. Again very small but when I looked up pics it matched a younger bed bug exactly! I then looked down and caught 1 full size adult in a cup and upon further inspection found another on the head board. I presented them to the maintenance man and he and the manager confirmed they were definitely bed bugs. I now have to leave all my belongings (my stay was to be 7 weeks) to be dry cleaned or washed and will most likely not get them back for 2 days and my luggage could take up to 5 days. I have no clothes or any of my belongings and now am very uneasy and paranoid that I will take these with me to my new hotel! It didn't seem to shock them that there was an issue with bed bugs and the manager even repeatedly told me that they just had the room inspected and there seemed to be a whole procedure already in place. When i asked the mainatainance man if theyve had this issue before he replied "everyone does"! I also thought it was strange from the get go that the mattress was completely sealed off and there was no way without completely taking the mattress off the frame to Check the seams. There was also a strange extra mattress cover only in the center but didn't cover the bed entirely.
