I'm the original poster. I called Hyatt and they handle the investigation immediately and professionally. THey have not found any bugs in the room we stayed, and have had no other reports. I'm glad that they have taken action and provided a report back. This means it is still a mystery where the bugs came from, but I feel assured that the Hyatt has done due diligence in their investigation and response.

Once we learned of your concerns, we immediately removed the room from service and contacted a nationally recognized pest control expert to conduct a thorough examination of your guestroom. That examination failed to find any trace of bed bugs.

Stayed at Hyatt regency on the 6th floor July 8th for one night. Woke up with three bites on my foot the next day. Didn't think much of it, didn't even think about bed bugs. 9 days later, I have about 70 bites all over. Went to the doctor and confirmed it was bed bugs. Exterminator is coming to my apartment tomorrow to do a survey. Its horrible!!
