On October 16, 2011, I stayed at the La Quinta Inn in Marietta, GA. When I awoke the next morning, I had an itchy area on my back. I looked in the mirror to discover three red welts on my back. It has been over two days since I've been bitten, and the welts persist. I feel fortunate that at least I was bitten in a area concealed by clothing. This is the only, and hopefully last, encounter I have ever had with a bed bug.

I stayed there in March 2010 for 2 nights. The first night I had a few bites, but just passed them off for mosquitos..not a big deal. After the second night, I woke up COVERED with bites. On my face, arms, legs, stomach, neck...I looked awful, and they were all swollen. I didn't see any bugs during my stay, but have concluded that it was probably flea bites (since it is a pet friendly hotel). Stayed here for a week on business trip. Two weeks after return discovered mites on bed that luggage was next to. During exterminator's inspection single bed bug was found on headboard.
