Response to Martha,
If you can prove you got the BB from this hotel, you may have a good law suit.
Hope I have better luck at the Comfort Inn in Traverse City, MI.

July 31, 2010. My family along with another famliy were returning home after a trip to Disney World. This was to be our resting place after a six hour drive, before we drove on home the next day. Upon arrival the place seemed "rundown" however we were tired and the children wanted to swim, so my friend and I checked into our rooms. I have heard the reports of bedbugs on the news, so I ALWAYS check my bed no matter where we are staying. I pulled the mattress back from the wall and there were bugs
crawling all over!! My husband didn't believe me until he pulled back the mattress on the other bed and even more bugs!! We went to tell our friends and went to the front desk. The clerk was very nice and said there would be no charge for our rooms! We left immediatly!! We stayed at a very nice and very clean Comfort Suites about 25 miles down the road. My advise.... ALWAYS check your bed!

Upon arrival to Comfort Inn Marietta, I was sketptical about safety due to having to walk through a breezeway that didn't have sufficient lighting? However, I didn't encournter anyone trying to mug me!
On December 15th, 2009,I had taken my bath and put on my night gown. I sat in the bed while I work on some reports. I noticed I began to itch, but I thought I may have been allergic to the material, but I thought about it for a minute. I had worn this gown before and didnt' have any signs of an
allergic reactions? The next morning I had red bumps all over my arms and around my neck. I noticed each break out had three red areas that really itched. After scratching they combined into a big red itchy bump. I contributed this to having anxiety over the trip I made alone and all the traffic I encountered in Marietta.
I went to the doctor when I got back home and explained the incident to her. She stated that it looked like insects bite? I didn't quite agree with her because I wanted to put it on anxiety. She gave me a prescription one for anxiety and Hydroxyz HCL for the itching. Needless to say this hadn't helped. I was searching the internet and found description and pictures of bedbug bites and they were identical to what were and had been on my arms and neck. I call the exterminator out to check and he confirmed that I had bedbugs in my bedroom. This is where I left my luggage open for a day or so. He also confirmed that there were some in my living room. I really feel bad that I have brought this to my home and has subjected my family to this problem, especially, the risk of attacks on my one month old grandson. The worst part about this is that in order to rid these critters, I will need to pay the exterminator $350 per room. Get this, I have six rooms and can hardly afford to take care of one and was told that I needed to take care of each room at the same time!
