I stayed at this hotel while at a National Conference November 2010. Because of the news all over regarding bed bugs, I checked the bedding and under the mattress when I checked in. Immediately, I found two different bug casings; one under the mattress cover and one on the box spring. I also found several hair types all over the bedding. The mattress cover was so stained, I couldn't believe it was not thrown away months ago. I called for a manager who came up and was very dismissive.
She spoke of complaints from a couple of weeks prior and tried to blow off what we might be seeing. She barely investigated and I had to ask her to take a closer look at the bug casings. She offered to get a clean set of sheets and would report the findings as to what they were to me the next day. I insisted on being moved elsewhere because bugs don't belong in any bed I plan to sleep in. I also pointed out that if there were bed bugs in the room, it would be within the mattress and a clean set of sheets would not be a remedy. Additionally, by morning we would possibly be bitten and our things infested! Yuck! She agreed to move us and did put my friend and I in a much nicer suite. I will say that room was very clean. We were called and checked on the next day and the following night recieved a wine and cheese tray. However, no one followed up and the manager I spoke to originally said she would personally share the findings. Needless to say, we never heard back. Although they were responsive, I would never stay here again.

two words, BED BUGS!!! My girl and I spent memorial day weekend here and found out our room was infested. Staff promptly responded and changed the room. New room was a downgrade, (no balcony, small window, horrible view). Upon check out I was presented with the $84 mandatory valet parking bill. I asked the front desk if they intende
d to give us anything for our "inconvience" of the bed bugs, so they said, "well we will knock 2 days off the valet bill," which brought our bill down to $28. I wasn't impressed
I did not stay here but was planning on it. Not any more....
