I read a few bad reviews for this hotel, and was horrified, because we had already booked it for my husband's family reunion. People reported filth and bedbugs. I was so scared to come, that I almost cancelled but there was nothing else available.
To my surprise, our 2 bedroom suite was SPOTLESS. We checked the mattress and everything for bugs, dust, etc. and it was perfect. The linens were so fresh and crisp. No dust at all. 3 flatscreens, full kitchen, fresh sofa fabric, clean bathrooms.
I w

as so impressed and releived.
On the second day, they had to close to pool to clean and shock it due to bad PH levels. Apparantly, the hotel was so full, and there were so many kids swimming in it, plus there was a rumor that a child had an accident in the pool. They made arrangements for everone to swim at a neighbouring hotel. Even though it was an inconvenience, some other hotel would have let us swim in dirty water, so I appreciate it.
The only thing I would recommend is mandatory "little swimmers" diapers for the kids, as there were no rules about that, and also to not allow kids in the hot tub at all. Even though the sign said that kids under 12 must be supervised; they were not. The hot tub was full of kids wrestling in the pool, from open to close every day.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite here for a convention from may 20, 2012 through May 24, 2012. One of my colleagues found a bug crawling on her in the middle of the night. She caught the bug and put it in a ziplock bag and gave it to the manager. The hotel has since confirmed the ENTIRE room was infested with bed bugs. I am covered with bedbug bites and have taken matuculous preventative measures and pray they are not in my house. I had to throw out luggage, some clothing and have missed work

as a result of this; not to mention the physical and emotional torment I am suffering.
