On Saturday morning, I awakened early due to very itchy feet, especially the ankles and sides of feet that touched the sheets. I have about 20 bites on each foot and the itching has been incredibly intense.

10/3/12: The bottom of my heel has a row of itchy welts. No where else on my body, but the sheet moved and that foot was exposed to the mattress pad and corner of the mattress. I can't explain what else it would be.

Dec 2007, was at this hotel for a conference with my family. The morning after our first night I woke early, hopped in the shower and realized after getting out that I was itchy and my arms and legs were covered with lines of bites typical of bed bugs. My wife had the same. Our little girl was in a portable crib and was unscathed. I had never heard of or paid attention to rumours of bed bugs before then, and was surprised to encounter this at such a high end hotel. The hotel moved us and promis

ed much but in the end it was obvious they didn't even clean our luggage like we had asked. Later they told us an independent lab could find no evidence of the critters, but we have no doubt this is what we encountered.
