We came down from Jacksonville, for the weekend, to stay in Orlando & have a "girls-trip". I stayed at this same hotel a few weeks prior & loved it! I experienced no problems & thought it was a very nice hotel for the price. Apon arrival to our room (3408), I immediately inspected for bed-bugs. I work for a pest control company, so I know how & where to look for them. (I also had a friend stay at a different hotel a couple off weeks prior & she came back to Jacksonville with them!) I whipped out
my flashlight & he second I threw the sheets back, I seen them! There were about 4 "babies" (meaning translucent/yellow in color & in the nymph stage) on the fitted sheet. I pulled back that sheet & there were 2 "babies" crawling on the mattress protector. I also saw evidence of bed bugs on the head board (feces). I checked the other bed & on the fitted sheet was 1 "baby" and 1 regular size bed bug. I immediately called the front desk & reported the problem. They had someone bring us keys to another room (3402) & I checked that one & didn't see any evidence. It still had us freaked out so we went down to the front desk & told the supervisor that we didn't feel comfortable staying there. He made us additional arrangements w/their "sister" property at the same rate. The staff was very nice & pleasant to deal with. However, I noticed that in the room where I found "them" there was a mattress casing on it, commonly used in the case of bed-bugs...but in the room they moved us to, there was not. So obviously, there has been problems reported before in that particular room. Unfortuneately, I'm not sure if I will ever stay there again!
