October 19,20 2012.Hampton Inn. My husband and I stayed here last weekend. After reading the report on "bedbugs" I was afraid of what I might fine.
Well, we checked in at 10am Friday Oct. 19 and our room was perfect. In fact, two week previously we were at the Hilton in Gainesville, Fl, which was very expensive due to the football game in town that weekend. This Hampton Inn was very clean, no bugs, no leaks, no mold and a very hard working staff that does a great job to keep the hotel spotless
.
We go back for many football games and this will now be our homebase to jump on the interstate and get to Gainesville.
I am not sure what that previous report of "bedbug" was but this hotel is great.

we woke up only to find bedbugs on the walls, in our suitcases an on our pillows. The management was contacted and the
Only thing they did at the time was give us garbage bags for
Our suitcases and send us out the back door. They wrote off
Our bill. This is a new hotel and after inspecting the other room we rented there were also bedbugs and bedbug carcasses. Do not say in this hotel they will just send you out the back door as not to upset the other customers. This mess has cost us well
over $1200 trying to get cleaned up.
