My roommate and I stayed at this hotel for one week from November 7-14. On November 12th we discovered a bed bug in one of the beds. My roommate had red bumps and bites all over him, but he didn't think anything of it and thought it may have just been mosquitos. We showed the hotel staff the ACTUAL bedbug that we killed and they were the most unbelievably unhelpful, irresponsible, and negligent I could have imagined. our clothes, suitcases, etc., but they also didn't care that they had bedbugs. They took all of our sheets and mixed them into the hotel laundry, mixing them with all of the rest of the hotel laundry, possibly spreading to the entire hotel. The manages would not even SPEAK to us. This is the worst I have ever been treated by a hotel. I will never return to the South Beach Hotel, and I recommend no one stay in this poorly managed and irresponsible hotel.
