Arrived late, asked front desk clerk if they had bed bug issues to which she answered no. We checked in to our room, decided to check for bed bugs. We found them on the first mattress we checked so we left. When we told the night clerk we wanted our money back she was confused, she was sure that they had never experienced this issue before. She was not going to call and bother her manager because it was two in the morning, she refunded our money and we left.

In Feb. 2011, bedbugs appeared in the room in which I was assigned. I do not have a reason to not believe they were eliminated. However, this report is more for the way I was treated there. There are no bedbugs in my home (which is where I am now). I had been in the hotel for some months and was at the time, recently moved into the said room. The manager constantly talked down to me and kept insisting that I had brought these things there. If that were true, they would still be at the plac
e of origin from whence I allegedly brought them, and I would still have this problem. Of course, the only problem was at the hotel. I have a BS in the clinical, biological science of Medical Technology, which also includes parasitology, and am certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. I know how the life cycle of these organisms work and know that they came from previous tenents...which, again, I understand was beyond the control of the hotel, but when I gave the evidence, studies, reference websites, and my credentials to this manager, she just shook her head no as if I were some idiot who knew nothing, and continued to treat me that way for the rest of my time there. I would never stay there again...bugs or not.
