We just stayed at Orange Lake East Village from 12/18/11 to 12/24/11 in room 86816. We thoroughly checked the whole condo and did not see any signs of bedbugs. I even woke up in the middle of the night to go check all the kids beds since the middle of the night is their favorite time to feed! Never found anything. I was very relieved.

We have had a horrible experience with bedbugs from the past (at another hotel in SC) so we know what we are looking for and how to check for them.

We stayed at Orange Lake Resort October 1-5 and received a real treat from this "Resort"..Bed bugs. What a nightmare! Try telling a 4 and 2 year old what bed bugs are and getting them to sleep in their beds.

Please do not stay here. There response was a $50 gift card and they will pay for dry cleaning. Big whoop! The kids are freaked out by the thought of bugs in their beds. Thanks for nothing Orange Lake Dump!

We went to Orange Lake Resort in August 7, 2011. The next day my family and I woke up with many bites. The room whre we stayed was infested with bed bugs ruined my family vacation, because that give us high fever during five days. I went to claim to the Resort office and the first answer was " go to the pharmacy" and the second time when I went to claim was " go to the Hospital". I am a woman of 50 years old and my son 13 both spent eight days inside the room we coudn't expose to the sun, becaus

WE SPENT 13 DAYS IN THIS RESORT, 08.04-08.17. 2011 MY FAMELY WAS BITEN ALL OVER,I HOPE WE DID NOT TAKE ANY BED BUGS TO OUR HOUSE IN LUXEMBOURG.
THEY RUINED ALL OUR VACATION, MY CHILDREN COULDN'T GO IN THE SUN ANYMORE, NO MORE PHOTOS WITH PRINCESSES BECAUSE THE BRUISES, PEOPLE LOOKING AT US LIKE LEPREUS.
I WANTED TO MOVE BEFORE MOVING IN BECAUSE THE ROAD VICINITY, BUT MY FAMELY WAS HAPPY BECAUSE THE VILLA WAS NEAR THE SWEEMMING POOL.

My husband and I own at orange lake and I didnt know it at the time but we were bitten by bed bugs at river island during our April 2010 stay. We also noticed tiny blood smears on the sheets but did not see larger bugs. When we got home we had trails of bug bites on our arms and legs it was so itchy. Im really upset because we own there and are stuck with it.

My family stayed here for the week of May 8, 2010 with my aunt who owns a time share. My husband had bites and a rash, but we never thought about bedbugs at all. After we got home, though, he was itching and had a bad rash, so he went the doctor who said the bites were from bedbugs and the rash was a secondary infection from the bites. He was given a steroid shot and cream that helped for awhile. We couldn't believe that he could have gotten bitten by bedbugs in that nice condo, and the rest
